Loving an album and understanding the music and lyrics are different, you can’t create an album without research and understanding the music. Creating this album cover was important to understanding mockups designs, printing dimensions and understanding different audiences. For this assignment I studied lyrics and interviews from 2009 when Hayley Williams, the lead of the band and one of the writers was explaining the backstories to the songs. From there they worked on what the album's message was and what was going on during this time for the band. The cover art is a direct  imagery in itself to the lyrics from the song “Brick by Boring Brick” Where Hayley Williams sings “Well, go get your shovel, And we'll dig a deep hole, To bury the castle, bury the castle.”
