The Oddities and Curiosities Expo is a showcase for artists, creators, and small businesses to sell and showcase all weird and odd things. This poster reflects the eerie nature of the expo. For the backdrop of the poster it needed to have elements that were both creepy and natural, to match a large sum of the artwork showcased at the expo. An image of a retina, and a great deal of editing, brings an abnormal texture to the backdrop of the poster. This element partnered with the rough texturing of the paper used for the title gives the feel of the expo’s weirdness and abnormality.
